DOMINION's Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mikel Barandiaran as Executive Chairman and Germán Pradera as the company's new CEO, effective from 1 January 2027. Antón Pradera will step down as Non-Executive Chairman but will remain on the Board as a proprietary director.

The leadership transition follows a planned succession process led by the Board of Directors, aimed at ensuring an orderly handover while maintaining DOMINION's focus on profitable growth and long-term value creation.

Germán Pradera brings more than 14 years of experience at DOMINION, having held senior leadership positions across different businesses, functions and countries. His previous roles include Country Manager in Peru, Director of M&A and Investor Relations, and Managing Director of B2B Services. He currently serves as Managing Director of GDE, DOMINION's environmental business division.

Meanwhile, Mikel Barandiaran, founder and current CEO of DOMINION, will take on the role of Executive Chairman, focusing on strategic direction and corporate relations while supporting the new CEO throughout the transition.

A new strategic chapter for DOMINION

Germán Pradera will assume responsibility for the company's day-to-day management, executive leadership and strategy execution, including leading the presentation and implementation of DOMINION's 2027–2029 Strategic Plan.

This new chapter will build on DOMINION's existing business model, maintaining its commitment to profitable growth, financial discipline and long-term value creation while pursuing new opportunities across its strategic business areas.
