Construction and O&M of the largest self-supplying solar plant in Mexico
Mexico
Dominion performed the engineering and construction of the largest self-supply solar power plant in Mexico, the Kaixo Solar Plant in Ascensión (Chihuahua), made up from 204.060 photovoltaic panels and with 65,000Kw of power installed. We also performed the subsequent maintenance of the plant.
The challenge
The build the largest self-supplying photovoltaic part in Mexico.
DOMINION's +
To have developed the project by applying the best technologies in each stage with the intention of guaranteeing efficient operation and, therefore, the plant's long-term profitability.
Results
This 200-hectare solar plant, made up from 204.060 photovoltaic panels and with 65,000Kw of power installed was inaugurated in a record time of six months and already contributes to the fact that power generated in Mexico is more affordable, accessible and sustainable.
